Should get better.: Since, with a TURP, your prostate gland was removed through your urethra, blood in your urine and residual burning are normal for a few days afterwards. However, if it persists or if you notice blood clots or fever or upper back pain, seek immediate medical care. In any case you should follow up with your urologist about 1 week after the procedure.
