Clavicle fractures: Are most often treated with figure of 8 splint, which places the two ends in apposition in satisfactory alignment. In rare cases, surgical intervention becomes necessary for anatomic reasons. Consult an orthopedic surgeon. But it will take up to 8-12 weeks for recovery.
