Lump in chest on the left side to the left of my sternum. up higher close to my collar bone. its been there for 2 years clean chest x ray. any idea of what it could be? waiting on referrals from current dr just trying to ease anxiety for now?

You could only be told possibilities because without examination it is impossible to definitively tell what it is. It could be tumor from any of the structures there and in view of age/duration it is likely to be benign it could be from the fat cells called lipoma or from the bone cells called osteoma and could be from blood, cartilage, muscles mixed with other tissues as you are likely find there
