A member asked:

How can gallbladder attacks cause scar tissue to form on the gallbladder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: Multiple gallbladder attacks can sometimes cause inflammation and scarring around the gallbladder which can make the surgery more difficult. Often, there is a layer of fat in the abdomen which is called the Omentum. This serves as a band aid and will cover the GB when it is inflamed or irritated. You should see a Surgeon to get worked up and consider surgery.
