Where?: What type of scar tissue are your describing? Cosmetic scarring of the skin may be addressed by a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist. Internal scar tissue after laparoscopic surgery is usually very minimal and not a source of pain. If you are having painful issues, see your family doctor first.

Hard to answer: Where is the scar tissue? All surgery causes scar. The scar may or may not cause problems. If there are no problems, usually scar slowly imporves, but can take several years. Thick scars that grow( keloids) often require pressure treatment, cortisone injection, radiation, or surgery.
