Need evaluation: After jaw injury, presumption is that jaw pain is related to injury, However for someone >60 yrs old with cardiac risk factors (eg high cholesterol, strong Fam history of heart disease) then further evaluation is warranted, Occasionally angina (heart pain) can present as jaw pain (not usually chin pain). If pain makes you short of breath, or if worse on exercise, see your doc immediately.
