A member asked:

I'm missing my top lateral incisors, and i'm going to be getting braces soon. will it close the gap in my teeth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 choices: In some cases spaces are opened and the missing laterals are replaced with implants/crowns. In other cases spaces are closed, substituting canines for laterals. There are a host of variables that contribute to this decision. Make sure you see an orthodontic specialist who will team with your general dentist to provide you with a super smile.
