See below: As long as there is no deformity just splint it to the toe next to it with a piece of cotton between the toes to hold the toe in position to heal.

Buddy Tape: Usually for these types of fractures, unless they are displaced (your toe sticks out), we recommend "buddy taping" the toe to the next toe. Place a thin piece of cotton or gauze between the toes first. Fractures can take up to 6 weeks to heal and the toe may stay swollen for several months. If the toe is displaced you may need to see a foot specialist. Wear a stiff shoe (eg running shoe).
