Harsh pain and pressure in upper eyelid, what is this and treatment?

Probably sty: If your upper eyelid has a red pimple like pustule with surrounding redness and pain, it probably is a sty (see picture). If not see an Eye MD. Try moderately hot compresses 4-6 times /day for several days to decompress the pustule and ease the swelling. If this resolve the problem, then it was likely a sty. Good luck.
