A blood test called a rast can be ordered by any physician. Many times, if allergies are not the problem, a sinus infection is present. Physicians miss the diagnosis of chronic sinusitis in children many times.

Not that effective: Studies have shown that air cleaner has limited ability to remove allergens one is exposed to although I have recommended it for patient's bedroom if they have an allergy to their pets and are unwilling to get rid of them. See an allergist.
