A cool air mist humidifier and boby nasal drops with gentle suction may be used. Monitor your child's temperature and keep him well hydrated. Vicks rub may be used in small quantities and the face/nose should be avoided. There is an aspiration risk from swallowing the preparation. Please follow up with your PCP if there is a fever for more than two days, prolonged or worsening.
