Possibly: Several different possibilities, consider being seen. Among the more common causes is a pilonidal cyst. An exam can usually determine the cause.

See below: It's not uncommon to have lumps and bumps around your tailbone. An abscess will usually be red, hot, and/or swollen. See your physician for a full evaluation.
