I have a perianal abscess approx 1cm wide at its best and 3cm wide on bad days,iv had it 6months, bleeds every few days & heal over but lump never goes away doesnt hurt just itches should i be concerned about something more sinister why wont it go?

Abscess treatment: Once an abscess drains it should begin to heal and ultimately leave little residual. Based on your description, you should seek consultation with a surgeon to have it evaluated and treated.
