Drinking water: Depends on how much you exercise or what sports are you doing. Ordinarily you should drink about two liters per day if you are very physically active, more if you are doing vigourous activity.

8-10 glasses: There is no firm guideline on how much water to drink daily. But, there are benefits to staying hydrated. For you, this is probably 8-10 glasses of water per day. Another way to know if you're hydrated sufficiently is to drink enough until you have clear urine (not yellow).
