Probably: Means that the gallbladder is normal, as fasting for 12 hours before the ultrasound would be expected to cause the gallbladder to retain bile and become full or distended. Eating causes the gallbladder to empty its bile fluid. It is expected that one would not eat before the ultrasound so the gallbladder can be seen properly.
