Have had trouble getting and keeping food down. ultrasound found gallblader partially collapsed. what does that mean?

Functional : that means it is functional and not obstructed by a stone. But because it is collapsed we might miss small stones in it. Probably you eat within 6 hours before the ultrasound and the gallbladder squeezed it's content to digest food, and did not fully distend at the time of exam.
