Asthma: Classic bronchospasm - the main ingredient in asthma, which you list as a condition. You need to use nebulized albuterol to ease the transition - speak to your lung specialist if you don't already have this in your home. If it's not working, you may need a pulse of oral steroids to get you over the hump. Your heart will race from both the lung problem and from the meds used to treat it.
