Heavy periods: There are some other diagnosis that a scope and biopsy could provide, mainly cancer. However, okay to take friend/family with you to see your surgeon and review all results, ask questions about other treatments, (ablation) before the scope/biopsy procedure. Be well.

Probably little: A small polyp might have not been seen on imaging and its removal might be feasible and beneficial more likely, this bleeding is hormonal and can be treated after biopsy with medication.
