My husband was diagnosed with bronchitis last week..was given a zpac and meds for a cough. he seems to b getting worse again. any advice?

See the doctor: If the symptoms are getting worse and he has been on the antibiotic for at least a week, he may have an infection that is resistant to that antibiotic. The other possibility is that he has a viral infection and did not need an antibiotic in the first place either way, he should followup with his physician to determine if he needs a different treatment.
