Not much: Sometimes alcohol. Sometimes peroxide, but otc products are not very efficacious. Best advice, see your dentist.

Depends: There are a lot of claims out there for "antibacterial" products, and the research is coming out that the claims are not accurate or true. Most mouthwashes are now alcohol free, and some do inhibit plague. I would get the advice of your dentist/hygienist.
