Retroperitoneal Fibr: Retroperitoneal fibrosis is a rare disease, often idiopathic, but drugs, infections malignancies, prior surgeries, radiation therapy, smoking, and asbestos exposure have been implicated. . It is characterized by the presence of inflammatory and fibrous retroperitoneal tissue that often encases the ureters & other abdominal organs. Symptoms include back or flank pain, and decreased kidney function
