A member asked:

Cortisone shots for wrist tendon pain, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear on question: Do you mean the cortisone shot didn't work? Or who to go see to get the shot? This might be safest done under ultrasound guidance since cortisone shots around a tendon have rare risk of rupturing the tendon. That being said, Ortho Hand doctors may be able to do this shot easily and safely. If still having pain despite the shot, would recommend seeing Ortho Hand surgeon.
