Possibly: You sound like a young person who sustained a severe wrist fracture if you have tendon inflammation without a tear, i would try both shots and physical therapy im not sure what surgery you are considering, but id get at least two opinions on this since your info is a liitle vague.

Need to see fracture: Seeing the x-ray would be helpful. The injections for a comminuted fracture acutely is odd.
