Many factors : Scoliosis surgery depends in part on how severe is progression of curvature.A child who has a severe spinal curve that is likely to progress, severe spinal curve that continues to progress even after bracing; age, skeletal age, and status of puberty. Location of the curve, very young child who has a severe spinal curve are few factors. Orthopedic surgeon has to consider all factors.
