How to identify Rx: Neurontin (gabapentin) (brand) and Gabapentin (generic) are the same, and there are many different ways to identify them. The website rxlist has a tool to use to identify medications by their appearance. Gabapentin is primarily a 'seizure drug' but is also used for anxiety, tremors, pain management and other diseases. If you are having difficulty with the medication i would discuss it with your doctor.
