Dr. Barbara Lavi answered

Specializes in Clinical Psychology

Do whatever you can: To control the chronic pain. Learn self hypnosis, go to a clinic that specializes in chronic pain, work with a therapist, contact your state rehabilitation services and have them assess which professions would be best suited to your personality, education and physical abilities. They may offer training to help you find employment. It is their job to try to help people overcome their disabilities.
