Not if well fit: The milwaukee brace is a historic brace treatment for scoliosis. Generally this is offered for patients who have a curve less than 30°. There are other forms of braces. A well fitting brace does not hurt, nor interfere with sitting down. Historically, patients would wear a brace 23 hours a day.
