Implants vs Lift: Breast implants are placed to increase the size and volume of the breasts. Breast lift surgery is performed to lift the natural breast tissue to a higher, tighter, more youthful position. The procedures can be combined to get the effects of both procedures - increasing the size of the breasts and filling the upper pole of the breasts, while also lifting the position of the natural breast tissue.

Implant vs Lift: A breast implant is utilized to increase the breast cup size and or improve volume in a deficient area of the breast especially the upper pole which can become deficient in women especially following pregnancies. A lift procedure is recommended for women who have adequate volume of tissue but it is sagging. The tissue is rearranged and the breast lifted higher on the chest to a normal position.
