Wound care: You should discuss this with your surgeon. There are many answers. In most instances this will heal with wound care but may require other interventions. This may be effected by the techniques, suture material, implant size, presence of infection, etc. Contact your surgeon, to discuss wound management.

Many possibilities: Is the implant exposed? If so, the implant will in all likelihood need to be removed. If the wound is opened only superficially, treating it topically until it closes on its own is best. Reclosing under any tension will only make it pop open again. Sometimes there is an underlying infection and ultimately the implant will have to come out. Good luck to you.

Mastopexy and lift: Key is to not put tension on wounds. It is far too early to make any definitive statements about your final outcome. It usually takes about a year until all the elements settle and scars become stable. Please follow your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon's instructions. Please let them know of your concerns. Together you will get through this process, hopefully with an outcome
