Can you tell me about "tarsal coalition" in their ankle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tarsal coalition: A tarsal coalition is a fibrous, cartilagenous or a bony bridge between 2 bones in the hindfoot area. It is congenital it may or may not be painful. It restricts motion in the hindfoot. If it hurts it most likely needs to be resected surgically or the joints need to be fused there is plenty of information on the internet if you google the topic. Consult an ankle specialist.
