Probably: Depending on how severe the coalition is , you should be able to still ski. When you ski there is not a lot of motion in the foot. You may need to compensate by wearing an orthotic in your ski boots or having the boots canted

Usually: Usually patients with tarsal coalitions have fairly normal ankle range of motion. The motion in the surrounding joints are affected. Skiing typically doesn't involve too much ankle or hindfoot motion, as ski boots limit the motion.
