What's the best way to help an elderly person clean up after bm?

Compassionately: I know what a burden being a caretaker can be. Common sense dictates disposable gloves and good old soap & water. A touch of bleach will render you safe. Unless this elderly person has something unusually nasty that is passed. Chat with the doctor of your elderly person.
