Hi doctors, was just wondering what is a partial over denture?

Dentures: A "partial" is the short term for a partial denture which replaces one or more teeth. A "full denture" replaces all the teeth in an arch (upper or lower). A denture can be a partial or full denture. Most people think of a full denture when they hear the term denture.

Partial overdentures: Overdenture is a removable partial or complete denture that covers and rests on one or more remaining natural teeth, roots or dental implants. The overdenture has proven to be an improvement over conventional denture or partial.
