How much caffeine?: Are you a heavy coffee or redbull drinker? Recent studies suggest the long-held belief of caffeine as a stimulant to alertness or good "pick me upper" may be overstated. Having said that the answer to your question is, nothing to really do except let the caffeine come out of your system. More importantly, you should ask yourself if you may be over using caffeine ; work to solve that problem. Gluck.

Nothing now: Sorry -- there's not a lot to do about this now at 3am. If you were to take other medications at this time, you'd probably be hung over in the day. Please consider stopping the caffeine during daytime also, if it's causing you this much problem. If there are other reasons you're having difficulty sleeping (ongoing, more than just tonight) consulting with a psychiatrist might be a good idea.

Ride it out.: If you take any antidote to caffeine, you will not be able to function the next day. Just ride it out for tonight , take a nice warm shower tomorrow and end with a cold shower. It will wake you up. You can drink caffeine early morning but do not drink anymore caffeinated drinks after lunch. There is a medication called Nuvigil used for shift work workers, pilots, etc but not recommended for you.

Time works: Time will cause the caffeine to leave your body. Some people are affected, like you by caffeine. Do not have any coffee, cola or chocolate after 11 am in the morning to reduce its effect on your sleep. You may have to eliminate it completely. Good luck! also try to reduce your stress, this can compound the caffeine effect.
