The appendix is: Located in the right lower area of the abdomen( in most people).Typically, the pain starts near the belly button and later moves to the lower right side.If your pain persists, u develop nausea, fever...Get evaluated sooner than later.

Maybe: Site of pain may not be typical if the appendix lies in an unusual place. Sometimes it is felt around the back or lower down in the groin. Typically pain starts in mid abdomen and then migrates to right lower quadrant, becoming worse in 6 to 24 hours. If concerned see physician for exam.
