Carefully monitor.: Envisioning you mean, "the back" at the upper thoracic level maybe? If you've pushed yourself athletically more than usual then, pain could be related to physical activity. If it doesn't get better soon then, by all means have it seen by a dr. Especially if other symptoms appear. Btw, i'm not a fan of tramadol because it could slow down breathing itself. It can cause seizures in susceptible folk.
