Pain in both back ribs when i take deep breath,and when i move a certain way it hurts around my hip/rib area. what could it be?blood clot? pleurisy?

Could be pleurisy: if not clearly due to injury, and if the rib areas are not tender to touch/pressure, the source of the pain is internal. Pain with breathing in the chest area is pleuritic pain. Causes vary and include infections, blood clot, other inflammatory conditions and rarely cancer. If it persists, doesn't respond to simple measures, or if associated with short breath, cough, or fever seek medical help.
