Foot: Bone takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal. Swelling can last for several months. Keeping the foot elevated as much as possible will reduce the swelling. Also things like smoking and diabetes reduces oxygen and nutrients to the feet which may increase the healing time. Your knee may hurt due to the weight of the boot which will take time to get use to. You may benefit from a heel lift in your other shoe.

Common: That's really soon to expect the swelling and pain to go away. Sorry to say, but you may have issues for a while yet - maybe up the a few months. Just be patient... Time will heal.
