Fell twisted ankle 5wks ago. no fracture. ball of foot now swollen/bruised/numbness/painful/hurts to walk. would boot help walk no pain?

Smething new!: May not be related to teh twisted ankle directly. I would look for another injury, a gout attack, etc. You may need an MRI of the foot to see if there is an undetected fracture
