No: Twenties male has abdominal pain and "lump" with apparent blood in stool and "diarrhea" with questions whether x-ray would help to diagnose. Non-bone tissues are translucent to x-rays. The way to investigate this problem is to see a gastroenterologist. A colonoscopy and/or an MRI might be needed. In this age group irritable bowel syndrome (ibs) might be involved. Cancer unlikely.

Abdominal x-ray showed colon thickening. Colonoscopy came back fine. No diverticulitis, etc. Could the X-ray have been wrong or what could have been seen on x-ray that colonoscopy missed? This was x-ray and not a CT. GI did not appear concerned?
M/29. Saw a doctor for bloating. Did KUB X ray and showed constipation so I did mag citrate and cleaned out. Still have some low abdominal discomfort and bloating. No weight loss, loss of appetite, or blood in stool. Very worried its colon cancer?

Woried abdomen CT scan may have missed any defects I may have with colon because colon was full of stool (needed to empty bowel but couldn't).
RLQ pain for 4wks.I had xray in ER it showed stool in RLQ. Colonic Inertia? Why would stool build there. dr. was not worried. She said just go to GI.
