Yes, wise to take!: It's wise to take probiotics while on antibiotics to prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhea ; yeast overgrowth;if you wait til after it might be too late! take sacchromyces boulardii (florastor), a probiotic yeast that can be taken at the same time ; at least 20 billion acidophilus/bifidus, best after a meal but not at the same time as the antibiotic(though antibiotics don't always kill probiotics).
