Wat is meant by small patchy parenchymal scar on both apices in nect-chest screening?

Old infection: Small apical scarring usually is a sign of old, healed inflammation and/or infection in the lung tissue. Tb is a common infection in that area which you may have fought off successfully. I would consult your pcp or radiologist to see if any follow up is recommended.
