Old infection: Small apical scarring usually is a sign of old, healed inflammation and/or infection in the lung tissue. Tb is a common infection in that area which you may have fought off successfully. I would consult your pcp or radiologist to see if any follow up is recommended.

June 2023- Chest Xray- results- Biapical pleural-parenchymal scarring and question 1 right lung apex nodule. Chest Xray was due to having Covid in 11/2022. Radiologist suggests repeat PA and do apical lordotic views. Can Covid cause these findings?
