Bipolar disorder: There are many other options for treating mood disorders. One way to know what drugs your body might respond best to, is get a genozyme genetic test done. It includes mthfr genotyping (at least the 677 allele), and cyp2c19 and cyp2d6 testing which can show if your body processes meds too slow, too fast, or just right. Treatment for mthfr makes meds work better at lower doses. Ask your doc!
