Need exam...: This is obviously difficult to answer w/o an examination. Gastroc muscle strain from 2 yrs ago should be healed by now unless u keep re- injuring it and could be missed possibly on MRI . Fibular stress fx., peroneal nerve injury and other less common diagnoses are in differential dx. See a board certified ors in your area for examination and/or get another opinion. Good luck!

When your leg hurts calf to back of the knee, and your mri says proximal tibial diaphysis, patchy area of T1 hypointense/T2 hyperintense signal, likely an area of red marrow reconversion. Whats it mean and What do you do to control the pain?
Would MRI without contrast find DVT? I've had back of knee and calf pain. D-dimer and ultrasound came back normal, but veins in feet&leg are bulging.
Just got my MRI report. Note is made of a lobular septated 2.6 cm posterior perisynovial ganglion cyst about the knee joint. Is this the same as bakers cyst? Do you think this caused my calf pain? Do I need surgery to remove it? And is it must?
