Back pain shot: In the usa the most common opioid shot is Dilaudid (hydromorphone). Another one commonly used is Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) (meperidine) - this assumes you had an opioid. If it was not an opioid then you probably got toradol (ketorolac) which is an nsaid.
