A member asked:

I am on .5 mg of clonazepam twice daily. my dr prescribed flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) to be taken at bedtime. will these two meds be okay together if at bedtime only?

Most likely: Both medicines can cause drowsiness, but at those doses, they should be safe. If your doctor knew about the clonazepam, he or she obviously thought the combined dose was safe. Avoid overdosing, or drinking alcohol with them, as this could increase drowsiness and risk. Hope this helps!

Both sedate: they are often taken together. ZERO POINT FIVE of klonapin is the lowest dose. likely to be safe except for sleepiness with flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl). FIVE mg of klonapin (ten fold higher) would be a bit dangerous.
