Don't worry!: Do you have any other symptoms? Like shortness of breath? Shamroth's sign is used to distinguish clubbing only when there are signs and symptoms suggestive of a disease. It's not a test that you do on yourself just to see if you have clubbing. And having the window space is normal. It's not having the space that could be clubbing! so relax. At age 26 it is very unlikely you have GI cancer!

Clinical context : Clubbing can be sign of underlying lung, heart, liver disease or some cancers. However, it can be also without an underlying disease. As such it is important to put the finding in the clinical context. Additional assessments may include digital index and phalengeal depth ratio to confirm clubbing. Some thyroid disorders are also associated with clubbing.
