Criteria: One can adopt the hospice benefit for any terminal illness if they fit certain criteria. Each illness has its own criteria- but generally if one can not manage their own activities of daily living, is losing weight due to illness and has less then 6 months to live if disease progresses naturally- one may qualify for hospice care. Medications, medical management and supplies are covered.
