A member asked:

Can the frontal bone in face actually be pushed back with an adult cranioplasty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cranioplasty: Any bone of the face can be removed and replaced in a different position. If a cranioplasty is being done then it sounds like a bone prominence (e.g. Fibrous dysplasia) is being removed and the defect repaired with a cranioplasty procedure. This last can be done with bone from somewhere else on the head or with foreign materials of which there is a long list.
