Varicocele surgery, what can i expect?

Always ask surgeon: It's a surgeons responsibility to describe the any procedure or operation beforehand also all benefits ; risks. Wonder why ur having this surgery at age 49, this is unusual. Too late to affect fertility ; varicoceles usually don't cause much discomfort. Surgery can be done via laparoscope (my preference), open microsurgery at neck of scrotum or open abdominally through a hernia type incision.
